You should receive a letter in the mail from Ms. Clark this week.

Please complete the following: a permission slip form NSAA Education and Consulting Services (due April 11); VISA application (I will supply you with the name and address for your references) fill out everything else; check list for items that need completed.

Saturday, March 24 - Great Human Race - everyone should be raising funds and money is due on April 20. (AVID students will not be required to walk, but should raise funds.

Sunday, April 22 - Ghana Social Event & Celebration @ Assembly Church on God - 4:00-6:00 PM (Bring a dessert to share)

"The Story" on WUNC 91.5 FM is going to focus on an African-American woman's travels to Ghana. It will be on the air at 1:00 and 8:00 PM. After that you can listen to it online at http://thestory.org/

The Great Human Race

Our first fundraiser will be participation in The Great Human Race on Saturday March 24th @ 9:30am. We will need to meet at the Durham Bulls Atheletic Park at 9:15am.

Each student is asked to raise $50. Of course more is better. Proceeds can go directly to your account, or to the group account if you've already collected your portion.

Everyone should have received a packet at the last Thursday's meeting. If you need another, please contact Ms. Clark. Donations are tax-deductible and can be made in any amount.

Donation collection day is Monday March 19th 2007. We have 20 days!!!
