Service Learning Correction/Addition

We'll meet at Celebration Assembly on the corner of Weaver Dairy and Erwin Road at 4:00 p.m. We'll ride in a church van or private vehicle. Make sure I have a permission slip on file for you. We will return to Celebration Assembly around 9:00 p.m. I may not be attending but Ms. Manning and Pastor Mike will chaperone. There also may be a few parents. If you have questions, please give me a call. Don't forget to respond by 5:00 p.m. today, so I can give them an accurate number for transportation

Service Learning Opportunity

Hello,
We have an opportunity to work at the Durham Urban Ministries Community Kitchen (410 Liberty Street) with Orange United Methodist and Celebration Assembly on Sunday, December 10th at 4:00 p.m.. All students especially those who need hours for Ghana are encouraged to attend. However, I will not be attending and we could use at least two parent volunteers. We can meet at Celebration Assembly at 3:30 or meet Orange United Methodist at Durham Rescue Mission around 5:00 p.m. Students will be required to bring two bottles of salad dressing. Let me know by Tuesday if you plan to attend.
